Copies of letters sent to Europe by Verelst. Some of the individuals Verelst wrote to are: James Amyatt, Richard Becher, Percival Bentley, Lord Clive (24 January 1767 in which Clive given power of attorney for Verelst's affairs), John Close, Eyre Coote, Mrs. Jane Court, Samuel Court, Richard Gough, George Gray, Theodore Howe, William Nixon, and Tryphana Verelst (his sister). Inserted loose into the volume are six letters. Two. letters are to organizations: East India Company Secret Committee (11 March 1762) and Nettleton, Raikes, and Nixon (27 January 1767, giving financial details concerning the purchase of property in England).
